Halloween

Today is an exciting day at Springside School. We are celebrating Halloween! The Grade 7/8 class has been busy creating a haunted house this past week. During the Halloween Carnival this afternoon, students will tour through the house. I also have a special surprise to share with the class. We will be enjoying a spider cake that's guts gush from it as it is cut! How cool is that?!?

Today I accompanied three delegates from our class to the student leadership conference in Saltcoats. Each student attended three sessions as well as participated in numerous leadership activities. The students will share some of these activities with the rest of our students at the next school-wide assembly. I have a feeling that the gymnasium will be very 'spirited' next assembly!

Welcome!

Welcome to the Springside Grade 7/8 blog! This is an new adventure for me as I have never created a blog before. I plan on having links where students can go to work with virtual manipulatives for math. Be sure to check them out!
